The General Meeting on October 18th

The meeting will provide an opportunity to:

• Review the original nomination submissions;
• Verify candidate membership and eligibility;
• Review candidates who were submitted but omitted;
• Examine positions declared uncontested;
• Review any changes made to submitted nominations;
• Address potential conflicts of interest;
• Review the handling of confidential BAC membership information; and
• Determine the appropriate corrections to the nomination list.

Refreshments will be served.

The purpose is not to favor any individual or group. The purpose is to protect the rights of every BAC member and ensure a fair, free, inclusive, and transparent election.

The Nomination and Election Committees must be accountable for their actions, and any illegal or improper actions must be addressed through documented evidence and the BAC Constitution.

BAC belongs to its members. No committee should have the ability to rig the nomination process, disenfranchise qualified members, or selectively control who is allowed to participate in the election.

We strongly encourage all BAC members to attend the upcoming General Meeting, review the documentation, ask questions, and participate in establishing a clean and transparent election process.
